Our Products – High Quality Functional Fuel For Your Busy Life
The market is changing rapidly and consumer demand for healthy, functional and nutrient-dense food is growing rapidly across the globe. We believe we are in a great position to leverage our brand strengths and heritage to take advantage of this growth opportunity.
‘Food for Now’
‘Food for Now’ is a competitive market but one in which Misbourne Foods excels in our key markets. It generated €700m in 2025 revenues, €600m in Europe and €100m in the Americas. The business focuses on freshly made Sandwiches and Salads – usually for immediate consumption by consumers through a wide variety of retail outlets. The business requires constant focus on service, due to the very short shelf life of chilled products – less than 48 hours from time of manufacture. We have a critical role in helping retailers maximise their own sales, while minimising waste, by delivering their daily orders exactly as requested.
While demand for the ‘Food For Now’ range dropped over the last few years, it is still a key opportunity for growth as we innovate new formulations, variants and products for our target segments. Due to the immediate demand feedback from daily sales, we can test and learn how new varieties of sandwiches and salads meet consumers’ needs and interests. We will focus our innovation on exercisers/gym goers, vegan and gluten-free needs and all lines will be low fat, low salt/sodium and low or no preservatives. As consumers in our markets re-establish post-pandemic working patterns in city and town centres, we see good opportunity here for growth with this range expected to deliver around 13% of our growth over the next five years.
Products – ‘Ready Meals’
‘Ready Meals’ delivers fresh and frozen meals that reflect our positioning of high quality, healthy, prepared food with high environmental standards. This business delivered €2.050bn of revenues in 2025. The pandemic forced an underlying change in eating habits towards eating at home with an increased demand for Ready Meals across Europe and the Americas. Ready Meals will be the engine of our growth plan to 2030 accounting for over 65% of the top line growth.
Our great tasting meals and pizzas reflect the unique skills of our production teams, coupled with our ingredient sourcing and manufacturing capabilities. This drives high levels of repeat purchase and resultant retailer demand on which we are capitalising. We think there is continued strong growth opportunities here for our business as we expand geographically and increase share in current markets. A key component of this growth will come from reflecting our brand values of healthy living in the Ready Meals range. We will introduce new exercise-appropriate versions along with nutrient-dense and gluten-free variants and new products to meet consumers’ needs for great tasting, healthy and sustainable products.
Products – ‘Snack Foods’
‘Snack Foods’ has two main centres: Mom & Pop Snackfood Company in the US and Svenska Mellanmål AB in Scandinavia. Between them they generated €750m of revenue in 2025. We see these businesses and their product range as both filling an important gap in consumer consumption between Food For Now and Ready Meals and complimenting both. There is good opportunity for growth here and we expect Snack Foods to be around 20% of our top-line growth in the next five years.
